Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the online MBA Finance at Manipal University must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • A bachelor’s degree from a university recognised by the Association of Indian Universities
  • Must secure a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved category) marks in graduation. 
  • Must have passed the online aptitude test conducted by Manipal University.

Candidates who have taken the aptitude test (CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT/GMAT) are not required to appear for the Manipal University aptitude test.

Admission Details

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to fill in the online MBA Finance application form:

  • A login window will appear on the screen
  • Enter name, email ID, and mobile number and click on send OTP
  • Enter the received OTP in the next blank
  • Click on enrol

Filling the form

Candidates will have to fill in their personal details, academic details, and ID proof, and upload the eligibility documents. They will not have to send the printed application form to the University. An application fee of Rs 500 will also have to be paid online. 

Mandatory documents

  • Valid and recognised photo ID proof - Aadhaar card, passport, voter’s ID, PAN card with photograph, driving license, ration card, any other Govt.-issued photo identity card

  • Valid address proof -  Aadhaar card, passport, voter’s ID, ration card, gas bill, bank statement, post-paid mobile statement

  • Class 10 mark sheet

  • Class 12 mark sheet

  • Graduation marksheet (for MBA and MCA students)

Non-mandatory documents

  • CAT/GMAT/MAT valid score for MBA

  • Work experience certificate (if any)

  • Graduation degree certificate

  • Scholarship documents

  • Defence Service certificate (if any)

  • Divyaang scholarship (if applicable)

  • Reserved category certificate (if applicable)

Evaluation Process

Manipal University, Jaipur conducts two types of evaluation processes in online mode - continuous assessment (CA) and term-end examinations (TEE). These assessments include theory papers and practical papers (if applicable). 

Theory Papers

The theory part will be assessed by performance based on continuous assessment (CA) through assignments and term-end examinations (TEE). The assessment ratio of term-end examinations to continuous assessment (CA) is 70:30. The term end exam will comprise descriptive and multiple-choice questions. Candidates are required to score 40% marks in both continuous assessment and term-end examinations to pass the course.

Practical Papers (as applicable)

The practical assessment is based on performance in guided exercises and unguided exercises that will be held on the last day of the practical sessions in each subject. The session will be conducted by the external examiner. The assessment ratio for term-end examinations (TEE) to continuous assessment (CA) is 30:70. A student must score at least 40% in both the parts to be declared as having passed.
